Lana MacNaboe
Lana MacNaboe is a mixed methods Senior Researcher working in the Centre for Children and Families at NatCen. Since joining NatCen in March 2020 as a Researcher in the Crime and Justice team, she has worked on several mixed methods research projects and evaluations, and has been involved in many aspects of project delivery; including project management, client communications, survey development, recruitment coordination, data collection (including fieldwork with young people and stakeholders), analysis and reporting.
She is currently working on the Student Income and Expenditure Survey (SIES) for the Department for Education (DfE) and the Welsh Government, which is a large-scale survey of English and Welsh students in higher and further education. Lana also works on Let’s Read Fluently!, which is an evaluation of a primary school language intervention based in Jordan, and an Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) evaluation of ASCENTS, a programme which aims to improve the GCSE science attainment of disadvantaged Year 11 pupils through tutoring and mentoring.
