Charles Wilson

Charles is a Researcher within the Analysis Unit at NatCen with interests in educational research and quantitative methods, including complex survey design and multi-level modelling. Since joining NatCen, he has worked on various projects, focusing on understanding the support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), early years education and development, and assessing the risk of economic inactivity among young people.

Charles also supports the quantitative training offered by NatCen, including delivering the Introduction to Quantitative Research and Analysis and Survey Data Analysis in R courses. Additionally, he has experience with mixed methods and qualitative research, including conducting focus groups, thematic analysis, and large-scale evidence synthesis of existing research.
