Alun Humphrey
Director of the Household Surveys team
Alun Humphrey is Director of Household Surveys within the Social Surveys Department at NatCen Social Research, having joined in 2001. Alun has a track record 20-plus years of successfully managing challenging complex social surveys. Alun oversees a team responsible for the English Housing Survey for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government as well as the Family Resources Survey, both large-scale studies that form the basis of National Statistics. Alun also oversees a number of push-to-web and mixed mode surveys and is the UK National Coordinator for the European Social Survey. He has a range of reporting experience, notably contributing to the British Social Attitudes Report.
Alun graduated from the City University in 1994, with a first-class degree in Business Studies.
