Alun Humphrey is Director of Household Surveys within the Survey Research Centre at NatCen Social Research, having joined in 2001.
Alun has a 20-year track record of successfully managing challenging face-to-face surveys. He is responsible for running the English Housing Survey for the Department for Communities and Local Government as well as the National Travel Survey for the Department of Transport, both large-scale studies that form the basis of National Statistics. Alun also designed, set up and ran the NatCen Omnibus Survey. He has a range of reporting experience, notably contributing to the British Social Attitudes 29th Report.
Alun graduated from the City University in 1994, with a first-class degree in Business Studies.
