Survey Practice Forum #4

The fourth Survey Futures practice forum, bringing together survey academics & organisations to discuss future methods of data collection. This event will focus on Challenges and Opportunities for Social Survey Data Collection in Scotland. The programme will include contributions from ScotCen, Ipsos and Verian, and a presentation of a recent study into mixed mode survey designs to inform the Scottish Government long-term survey strategy.

The programme will include:

Two panels, each addressing current issues in survey data collection, but from different perspectives:

A panel of survey agencies, including contributions from ScotCen, Ipsos and Verian;

A panel of survey commissioners, including survey leads from the Scottish Government;

Also:

The survey user perspective: what does a user look for in a survey dataset?;

Findings and recommendations from a recent study into mixed mode survey designs to inform the Scottish Government long-term survey strategy.
