Conor O'Shea
Conor O’Shea is a Researcher in the Communities, Work and Income team, having previously worked within NatCen International, the global social policy programme at the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen). He is an experienced survey and qualitative interviewer. Prior to joining NatCen, he carried out survey interviews for NatCen’s field team. He also did project management work at Bristol City and Ealing Councils.
He holds a Master’s degree in sociology from the University of Bristol. Drawing on the British Social Attitudes survey, his thesis was an examination of the relationship between voting patterns in the UK and levels of trust in epistemic authorities. Conor has a strong interest in social research as a pathway towards the empowerment of marginalised groups.
