NatCen launches its own podcast series

We take a closer look at British Social Attitudes data, offering an in-depth exploration of the public’s attitudes shaping society in the UK.

The National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) are proud to announce the launch of a new podcast series: Society Behind the Stats, broadcasting from 14th November 2024. 

Society Behind the Stats speaks to leading social scientists and political experts on the themes and trends that have defined social research over several decades. Together with host Sierra Mesplie-Escott, they discuss the evolving views and experiences of people across the country. 

For our first series, we will be exploring British Social Attitudes, NatCen’s flagship survey and the UK’s most authoritative study of political, social and moral attitudes. Featuring insights from Sir John Curtice, Elizabeth Clery, Rob Ford, Andrew Copson, Leonora Merry, Dan Wellings and Fiona O'Hanlan.
