Implementation and Process Evaluation of upReach
About the study
The National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) has been commissioned by upReach to carry out an independent evaluation of their work to help students from lower socio-economic backgrounds secure top graduate employment. upReach provides activities such as one-to-one coaching and mentoring; careers events and skills workshops; and mock interviews and assessments to help people develop skills, networks and experience to access and succeed in their chosen career.
To understand what works well and less well about upReach, we want to hear from people who have been directly involved in the programme. We will be talking to people who have received support from upReach in either the 2024 or 2025 graduating cohort about their reflections on upReach – including what works well and less well, any differences the programme has made for them, and any suggestions for future delivery of the programme.
Our findings will be brought together in a thematic report for upReach, which will be used to inform their future work.
