Walid Marrouch
Professor of Economics at the Lebanese American University (LAU)
Walid Marrouch is Full Professor of Economics at the Lebanese American University (LAU). He is also the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at LAU. His main research interests are in environmental and resource economics, energy economics, development economics, and applied game theory. He has conducted consultancy work for a number of international organizations such as the UNDP, ILO, and ESCWA. His contribution to public policy also includes frequent participation in expert group meetings and appearances in local and international media outlets. He is also a Fellow at the Center for Interuniversity Research and Analysis of Organizations (CIRANO) and The Economic Research Forum for the Arab Countries, Iran and Turkey (ERF).
