Suzanne Hill

Research Director

Suzanne Hill is a Research Director in the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen)’s Health and Biomedical Surveys team. She has expertise in delivering complex survey research including biomeasures, and producing high quality statistical reports. She currently leads the Gambling Survey for Great Britain (GSGB) and manages the Health Survey for England (HSE) annual reports. She has also worked on the National Diet and Nutrition Survey (NDNS) and on several smaller secondary analysis project.

Prior to working in the Health and Biomedical Surveys team, Suzanne was in the Data Management team where she worked on projects across research teams at NatCen. In this role, she led the data management on several surveys, including the National Diet and Nutrition Survey (NDNS), the National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles (Natsal), and the Mental Health of Children and Young People 2017 follow up studies (MHCYP).

Suzanne has extensive knowledge of data management and survey research methodologies, and has experience of quality assurance and disclosure assessment procedures. She completed her PhD at Brunel University London in 2020, and has excellent analysis skills including in complex methods.
