Martin Wood
Martin Wood work has included delivering the highly respected Workplace Employment Relations Survey. He has also carried out large-scale evaluations of back to work policies and a study on discrimination in recruitment practice.
His interests extend beyond employment to the area of crime and justice. He joined NatCen Social Research in 2004 following four years in the Home Office analysing crime surveys and researching immigration. His current work includes a major longitudinal study of offenders sentenced to Community Orders.
Specialising in quantitative survey design and delivery, and in quantitative analysis and reporting, he has a particular interest in innovative survey design using mixed modes. His most recent project was the Innovation Panel component of Understanding Society.
