Lila is a Researcher in the Centre for Evaluation. Specialising in Theory-Based Evaluation, she has experience working on evaluations that use Contribution Analysis, Realist Evaluation, Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) and Process Tracing. These have spanned across several topic areas including education, gambling, and youth homelessness, for clients such as the Department for Education, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Gambling Commission, the Office for National Statistics, and the Youth Futures Foundation.

Lila has a particular interest in civil unrest and social and economic rights. She holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations from King’s College London and a Master’s in Human Rights and Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her postgraduate thesis comparatively examined the causes of the 1981 Brixton uprising and 2011 England riots, and government responses to those events.
