John Mohan

John Mohan is Professor of Social Policy at the University of Birmingham. His research interests span social geography, health policy and the role and contribution of the voluntary sector. He helped establish the Third Sector Research Centre (TSRC) in 2008 and is now its Director. TSRC works on the resources, roles and relationships of third sector organisations, and the impacts and distinctive contributions these organisations make. Its aim has been to work closely with practitioners, policy makers, and other academics to develop its research programmes and explore the relevance of findings for policy and practice.
