Ella Gerlack

Ella joined the Centre for Social Survey Transformation in 2022. Since she joined, Ella has been working on the National Travel Survey (NTS) and the NTS Digital Diary which focuses on transforming the traditional and long-standing paper travel diary into a digital approach.

Prior to joining NatCen, she completed an undergraduate degree in Sociology at Canterbury Christ Church University followed by an MA in Methods of Social Research at the University of Kent. She gained experience in both qualitative and quantitative methods and developed an understanding of the methodological choices necessary to address in designing social research, along with data collection, data analysis, and report writing.
