Sebastian Ille
Sebastian is an Associate Professor of Economics at Northeastern University London. He is also the Associate Director of Research & Knowledge Exchange for Social Sciences and Head of the research cluster on “Social Dynamics and Behaviour”.
Sebastian’s research interest focuses on social systems as interconnected and complex processes of different social norms, individual preferences and interactions. His research relies on interdisciplinary methods from across the social sciences, and he has published on various different topics, including migration, identity, sectarianism, religious and social conflict, and shadow education. Sebastian is also author of “Models of Society and Complex Systems” (2022) which shows how we can model human behaviour and interactions, and the complex social dynamics that drive institutions, conflict, and coordination.
