Sally McManus

Sally McManus is a Senior Research Fellow at the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) and Professor of Social Epidemiology at City St George's, University of London, where she directs the interdisciplinary Violence and Society Centre. 

She examines population trends in health and health behaviours and the social context of mental health, including the role played by violence and socioeconomic adversity. Sally has collaborated closely with NatCen since 1999, advising on England’s national child and adult mental health surveys and other projects.
