Joy Mhonda

Joy joined the National Centre for Social Research in 2020 and has led the Communities, Work, and Income team since 2022. As the team's Group Head, she leads a number of talented researchers, driving high-impact studies across a range of methods and policy areas. Joy also leads NatCen’s new business strategy, shaping its future direction.

With a career spanning government, regulators, charities, and commercial clients, Joy has delivered research that informs policy and decision-making at the highest levels. Before joining NatCen, she held senior roles at Savanta and Ipsos, bringing a wealth of experience in evidence-based insights.
