Hannah Brearley-Bayliss
Hannah is a Researcher in the Health Policy team and joined the team in December 2023. Hannah has worked on a range of mixed methods research projects with a focus on gambling and loneliness. She has worked with a range of qualitative and quantitative methods, including evaluations and evidence reviews. Hannah has experience of interview and focus group design and delivery, deliberative workshop facilitation, quantitative data management, and data analysis.
Hannah has recently delivered in depth interviews with a variety of stakeholders on the interaction between gambling harm and suicidality, which included sensitive discussions of risk and protective factors, stigma, and experiences of treatment and support. She has experience of facilitating sensitive discussions in a variety of formats.
Prior to joining the team, she completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Nutrition where she gained experience in clinical, social, and neuro psychology, as well gaining experience and knowledge in a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Following this, Hannah also completed her PGDip in psychological interventions.
