Darren Smith

Darren is Director of Interviewer Experience and Media Measurement Delivery at NatCen. He leads the end-to-end interviewer experience, from advertising and recruitment through onboarding, training, engagement and retention. His focus is on ensuring NatCen's interviewer workforce has the tools, support and environment needed to deliver high-quality social research.

Alongside operational leadership, Darren drives initiatives that improve communications, interviewer engagement and continuous improvement across fieldwork services, using data and interviewer feedback to enhance both colleague experience and delivery outcomes.
