English Housing Survey
Youth Evidence Review
NatCen Social Research have been asked by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to carry out research into how young people like to spend their free time, the activities and services for young people in their area and how they think local provision for young people can be improved.
The research will involve taking part in an online group discussion with 5-6 young people. The discussion will last up to 1.5 hours and will be led by a researcher from NatCen.
What will you ask me about?
We will ask about:
- How you spend your free time
- Activities and services for young people in your area
- What you would like to do and see
- How you think provision for young people in your area can be improved
There are no right or wrong answers. We’re just interested in hearing what you think.
Do I have to take part?
Your views are very important, but it’s up to you whether you take part. If you decide to take part, you don’t have to talk about anything you don’t want to, and you can leave the discussion at any time.
We guard your privacy
We will treat the information you give us in the strictest confidence under the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The results collected will be used for research purposes only.
All information will be anonymised before being analysed, and personal data will only be accessible to the research team and recruiters. At the end of the research, your personal information will be securely deleted.
