Each year, a number of people are chosen at random from across the country to be interviewed about what they do in their spare time, so this is your unique chance to influence how public money is spent on arts, sports and other facilities in your area. Coronavirus notice
Due to concerns around the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, face to face fieldwork for the Taking Part survey has been stopped. If you have received a letter inviting you to take part, please note that an interviewer will now not be visiting your address. The Taking Part web panel is still running.

What's involved?
One of our interviewers will call at your home to arrange an interview at a time that suits you. The interview itself is really relaxed – there’s no need to prepare and you can skip any questions you don’t want to answer.
