Samaritans

Samaritans is a charity which provides emotional support to anyone in emotional distress or struggling to cope throughout Great Britain and Ireland. Their helpline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Shout 85258 is a free, confidential, anonymous text support service. You can text them from wherever you are in the UK.

If you are struggling to cope and need to talk, the trained Shout Volunteers are there for you, day or night.

Mind

Mind is a mental health charity in England and Wales that offers information, advice and support to people with mental health problems.

The Infoline provides an information and signposting service. It provides information about mental health problems, where to get help near you, treatment options and advocacy services.

It is open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (except for bank holidays).
