ScotCen convenes new Scottish Advisory Group

The Scottish Centre for Social Research (ScotCen) has convened a Scottish Advisory Group on Evidence for Policy Making (SAGE-PM). The Group will be chaired by Professor Sir Ian Diamond.

As further powers are transferred from Westminster to the Scottish Parliament, the group will take a fresh look at the “big themes” affecting the Scottish economy and society; the extent to which the evidence base supports these; and how best to ensure policy and public engagement with the evidence.

The initial membership of the Group is set out below and its terms of reference will be confirmed at its first meeting on 28 March.
