In an increasingly digital age, social media research offers new ways of understanding attitudes and behaviours.
At the London HQ of Twitter, this early evening event will feature presentations from researchers who have used social media data in a range of settings, including government and academia.
The speakers will explain their findings, methods and the social value of their research, providing attendees with a new understanding of what nsocial media research has to offer and how it can be used to complement "traditional" social science methods. Presentations will be followed by an audience Q and A.
This event is part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
