Arjun Liddar

Research Assistant

Crime & Justice

Arjun Liddar is a mixed-methods research assistant in the Crime and Justice team at NatCen. Since joining NatCen in 2019, Arjun has worked on a variety of mixed-methods projects, several of which are funded by the Home Office to investigate perceptions of extremism and hate crime. Aside from these, he has also been actively involved in an evaluation of an assessment and intervention tool used by local authorities to support young offenders and their families. Arjun has also worked on projects across teams in the Policy Research Centre, including the Communities, Work and Income team, the Children and Families team.

Prior to joining NatCen, Arjun has had experience working on several research projects in Social, Cognitive and Neuro psychology. His dissertation presented a novel theory within the Neuropsychological literature on the differences in emotion recognition abilities between older and younger adults. Arjun has also had previous experience within multidisciplinary settings, working on both qualitative and quantitative projects.
