Adriana joined NatCen as a mixed methods Research Assistant in the Health and Social Care team. Since joining in 2021, she has worked on various projects covering topics such as health disparities, bereavement, gambling and volunteering funding. Her key areas of interest lie in the social determinants of mental health, social mobility, cultural/ethnic differences and international research, with the overall goal to create meaningful impact within policy.
Prior to joining NatCen, Adriana completed her Psychology undergraduate, where she first developed an interest in research methods, mental health and vulnerable populations. She also gained her Masters from UCL in Social Policy and Social Research, undertaking a quantitative dissertation which looked at the long-term influence of adolescent work experiences on poor mental health and life satisfaction outcomes in early adulthood.
