National Travel Attitudes Study (NTAS)

National Travel Attitudes Study (NTAS)

Have your voice heard on all things travel. NTAS uncovers the nation’s opinions on travel issues to help make travel and transport work for everyone.

The National Travel Attitudes Study (NTAS) is a new research project which aims to understand your opinion on everything that is travel or transport related.

The Department for Transport (DfT) have appointed the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) to carry out this research. NTAS will inform future policy, ensuring DfT policies are well developed and its transport plans appropriate.

By answering NTAS questions, you could make a difference to government transport planning and policy development. The findings can also be used by academics, businesses and the general public, as well as by campaigning organisations representing a wide range of groups, including motorists, cyclists, motorcyclists, the elderly, rural communities and children.

We will be in contact every few months and ask you to take part in a short questionnaire. The exact questions will vary, but will always relate to travel or transport in some way.
