Since 1993, the National Study of Health and Wellbeing has been finding out how the everyday stresses, strains and joys affect the health of people living in England.
By taking part, you’ll be helping doctors and other health professionals get a clearer picture of the nation’s health and wellbeing.
To get a truly representative picture of people in England we’ve chosen your address at random. This means we can’t replace you with anyone else.
One of our interviewers will call at your home to arrange an interview at a time that suits you. The interview itself is really relaxed – there’s no need to prepare and you can skip any questions you don’t want to answer.
Over the past 20 years we’ve interviewed more than 60,000 people. We’ve uncovered some interesting patterns and our data has contributed to important research.
We’re Britain’s largest independent social research agency. For the last 40 years we’ve worked on behalf of government and charities to find out what people really think about important social issues and how Britain is run.
We understand you may have some questions about our credentials and how we deal with personal information.
