  • What’s involved?

Taking part would involve an interview with one of our experienced researchers.

You can decide where to have the interview and when.

We will ask about your experiences of being in police custody and in particular what happened and how it made you feel.

  • Who can take part?

This project is open to young people who have been taken into police custody in the last two years.

It is also open to adults who have been detained in the past two years and who have mental health needs and/or who are from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities.

It may not be possible to speak to everyone who would like to take part.

  • Why take part?

You do not have to take part, it is up to you.

If you do take part, what you tell us can help improve the experiences of other people in police custody.

You will receive a £10 voucher as a thank you for sharing your experiences.
