Employment-related support for ESA and UC claimants
If you receive Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) or Universal Credit (UC) because you aren’t able to work, we would like to hear your thoughts on the help and support you’ve been offered through the Jobcentre Plus - whether or not you access any support at the moment, or have before.
We’re also talking to work coaches and other people who work at the Jobcentre who are involved in delivering the support.
About Employment-related support for ESA and UC claimants
From April 2017, all Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) claimants have been offered employment-related help and support including a talk about their health with a work coach. The support is provided to help people to prepare for work in the future.
NatCen has been asked by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to look at how the employment-related support is being offered and to see how it is being delivered at different Jobcentre Plus locations across England, Wales and Scotland. We want to hear from people who have accessed the employment-related provided as well as from those who chose not to.
Whether or not you decide to take part in an interview will have no effect on your benefit or tax credits, either now or in the future. All information is confidential.
