On Wednesday Public Health England published the combined results from Years 1, 2, 3 and 4 (2008/09 – 2011/12) of the National Diet and Nutrition Study Rolling Programme. This survey takes stock of what the nation is eating a drinking by asking people to keep a food diary and taking blood and urine samples for nutritional analysis. For the first time, we’ve broken all this information down by income, so we can now explore whether health inequalities (ref) start with what’s on your plate.
