As Head of Communications, Leigh Marshall is responsible for maximising NatCen's media profile and promoting our research through the press. He also works to ensure that NatCen’s research reaches and influences policymakers, and that politicians continue to use and value social research as part of the policymaking process.
Leigh came to NatCen at the start of 2013 from a leading public relations consultancy where, as an Associate Director, he ran strategic communications programmes for clients in a range of sectors, from aerospace to the Church of England. Prior to this he worked for political intelligence experts Dehavilland and for a Member of Parliament.
He holds a Masters in Communication from the University of Illinois.
