Senior Researcher

Longitudinal Surveys

Curtis is a Senior Researcher in the Longitudinal Surveys team, where he works on a number of projects including Understanding Society and the BBC Purpose Remit Survey.

He has a particular interest and experience in conducting innovative research online, including online questionnaire design, use of online panels, and using social media and other web-based data.

Before working at NatCen, Curtis worked at Kantar Media where he gained experience managing large-scale mixed-mode research projects, researching online behaviours & attitudes and the opinions & habits of children & young people.

He has also worked as a researcher for a number of smaller organisations, looking at a range of topics including sustainable transport and child abuse in the British African community.

He has a BA (Hons) in Human Geography from University College London.
