Alina joined NatCen in October 2016 as a Statistician in the Survey Research Centre. In her role, Alina is involved in sampling and weighting, being the main statistician for the British Social Attitudes survey. Her areas of expertise also include questionnaire design, high volume quantitative data manipulation and reporting using national statistics.
Prior to joining NatCen, Alina pursued a MSc in Survey Methods for Social Research at the University of Essex where she focused on implicit and explicit attitudes towards prisoner reintegration. Her research interests include racial bias, mental health and poverty alleviation. Previous employers include Colchester Borough Council and University of Essex.
